Shopping and re-shopping

After breakfast, Ruth wanted to stay in the casino and do some gambling. Gambling... in Reno? What a unique concept! The rest of us decided to go shopping. I needed some tacky souvenirs that said "Reno" to bring home, and other people wanted to look at the Harley stuff, so off we went! When we first left the casino, right outside the door was a huge Styx poster advertising the shows, and the six of us gathered together and got a very helpful biker who was passing by to take our picture! The picture turned out great - you have never seen six happier, giddier, more sleep-deprived people! We spent the morning walking around and browsing through all the Street Vibrations booths.

tacky is not a bad thing...

When it was lunch time, we went back to the Silver Legacy and found Karen at the coffee shop, talking to Louis and Angela, who I had also met briefly at the show the night before. We stopped and talked for a few minutes, then Cindy and Jerry went off on their own, and Edith, Debbie, Kelly and I went on to lunch. About halfway to the food court, I realized I had left my little bag of tacky souvenirs on the table with Louis, Angela and Karen! By the time I got back up to the coffee shop they were gone though. I was hoping Karen had seen my bag and picked it up, but if not, luckily, they were very cheap tacky souvenirs!

After lunch we re-shopped! We went back and revisited a couple of shops and vendors we had seen that morning, and I re-bought just a few of my items in case they were gone for good.
