Out of the 30's
The band hit the stage like a cyclone as usual! They were running all over the stage, laughing and joking with each other and interacting with the audience. Those of us along the edges were leading the way in enthusiasm and volume in dancing and singing along, and the people in the middle were getting into it too, I'm glad to say! It's impossible not to get caught up in this show, especially when you're so close to the stage!
They sang "Sing For The Day" and "Lights", two of my favorites. Before they started, Tommy commented on the way the venue was arranged, with tables and booths, like something out of the 1930's or 40's. He said they had seen it with the lights on earlier in the day, when they were filming some fill-in shots for an upcoming video. Can't wait for that! He asked, "Isn't this an awesome place to see STYX?" I have to say YES!
