Sightings
We went over to the buffet, which thank goodness was a little cheaper for Saturday brunch than it had been for Friday night dinner. As we were leaving, who should walk by but Lawrence. He had just been seated at the table next to the one we were leaving, and we said hello to him and left.
Out in the casino, we saw more people we recognized and people we knew. Keith was walking around, Gary was at one of the tables, and we saw Jeanne Shaw playing slots. We walked around the casino and visited the shops; because I don't feel like I've been somewhere if I don't bring home a keychain or a magnet that says so! A few more magnets and I'm going to need a new refrigerator. We also saw LouAnn and Jeff, and talked to them for a while.
We split up to do some more gambling, and after Karen and I had done about as much damage as we could do at the nickel and penny slots, we went strolling around again. Out on the main floor, we passed Jeanne again, and she told Micky it was snowing outside, big time. We had been hearing all weekend that we were in for a big storm, so Kim and Micky and Karen and I went to the doors to look. Fresh from Minnesota and New Hampshire, Micky and I stood looking through the glass saying, "Snow? Where?" It was coming down, but we had figured "big time" would mean we couldn't see across the street!
