Intermission
By this time it was almost 8pm, and we had our first real break in the music! This gave us a chance to roam around a little and talk to other fans! I knew Linda and John were going to be there, and I remembered which section their seats were in, but I looked around and couldn't find them. A little later, I heard someone yell, "Kathie!" I turned around and it was Linda - she had come up to the front of the section she was in and was leaning over the rail! Edith and I went over and talked to her. I just thought that was so funny, and another example of what a big party it was. Here I was in this huge arena, hundreds of miles from home; someone yelled my name, I turned around, and they actually meant me!
I didn't get a chance to say hi to everyone, but it was fun running around talking to the people I did get to, including Russ, who took a few minutes to talk to us while the stage was getting set up! Of the "headlining" bands, Styx was coming up first!
