Yocheck! Yocheck!

After the guys left the stage and the lights came up, Keith was the first one back out on the stage as usual, and he came out to the edge of the stage in front of where I was. It was still very noisy in the room because people were still talking and laughing, so I yelled up to him at the top of my lungs, "THANK YOU KEITH!" He looked down and saw me, and smiled and nodded, knowing exactly what I was talking about. He shrugged his shoulders and said to me, "It's a rock show." I said, "That's right - thank you!" He nodded again and went on with what he was doing. About ten minutes later he came back out, and a bunch of us were all still congregating and talking and comparing notes. A little group of people got up a chant of "YOCHECK! YOCHECK! YOCHECK!" - which is Keith's AOL name. We embarrassed him sufficiently and then we left!

We hung out in the lobby for a while talking to other people, some of the same people from the night before, in addition to meeting even more new people. We had a blast, all telling our stories, reliving the entire show, and especially the mad dash to the stage! Karen nobody was out there with us, and someone said they saw her leading the charge, and I said, "Yep, she was out in front!" and I pointed at her - and then she said, "But you held off the security guards," and pointed at me. I don't know what was so funny about us standing there pointing at each other, trying to give each other the credit for being first but it was just the most hysterical thing to our little group! It's possible we were in a little bit of a silly mood! Edith and Kelly and Debbie reported in on what happened where they were, and Kelly said that the casino staff must have known from last night that some of the fans might be unruly (who, us?) since she heard them warn the "VIPs" about us as they were seating them in the front rows! The staff would say, "Now, people are going to rush the stage, so if you want to, just go on up when they do." Yes, right behind us please!

It was so crazy after the show, I lost track of people. I don't have any idea where I was or who I was talking to, but Todd came out very briefly, and Debbie and Kelly got to talk to him for a few seconds. A little while later, Lawrence came out and talked to people, had his picture taken, signed things, whatever anyone wanted. Sherry, the one who had the tiara and sash on during Miss America the first night, got Lawrence to sign something, then asked him if she could get a picture taken with him, and he said sure. She is several inches taller than he is, so right before her friend took the picture, he went up on his toes so he'd be her height, and everyone laughed! Then he walked around on his toes for a few steps right after that, saying "What? What?"
