That's not Tommy!
During "Love Is The Ritual," Glen came running down the stairs and off the stage, as he is often known to do! He didn't cross the barricade, but the way the seats were configured, there was an area sort of like a center aisle in front of the stage that only went back three or four rows. So he was still on the stage side of the barricade, but further back into the crowd than we were.
Well, when Glen came down the steps, I thought I was going to get beaten silly! The girls on my right went absolutely nuts, so excited that Glen was coming down into the crowd, because they thought this would be the perfect time for Linda to hand over her flowers! Linda's family were closer to the center than I was, so they were right next to where Glen was playing. The girls couldn't get to Linda, so they were literally pounding on me with their hands, screaming "TELL HER TO GIVE HIM THE ROSES! GIVE HIM THE ROSES NOW!" And I was trying to tell them, that's not Tommy! After three or four times, they finally realized I was trying to speak, and they said, "What?" and I said, "THAT'S NOT HIM!" They were stunned! I told them the flowers were for someone specific, and that wasn't him. It was very cute - I think they were disappointed in us for giving up that chance! They made me point out which one was Tommy so they could keep their eye out for him!
