A Typical Styx Morning

The gates to the fair opened at 8 am, and that's what time people were allowed to start lining up for the show. I got there about 9:00 and walked around a little to find out where to go. I found a map, and when I saw the name of building #3, I knew where my first stop had to be...

The YOUNG buildingOkay, so I'm silly, but if Tommy can take a picture of a piece of machinery at the Hoover Dam called the "Shaw Box" and post that on Styxworld, then I feel justified, if still a little silly, to have been standing out in the cold at 9am juggling a camera and a cup of coffee to get a picture of the Young Building at the Big E!

Next, I went to find the concert area. The security people were already around, but since it was so early, they didn't mind me walking around in the seating area and taking a few pictures. I saw some familiar faces there already, hard at work setting up the stage. I said hi to Keith and he smiled and said hi. I felt positively blessed to get a smile out of Keith that early in the morning!

I spent a few more minutes walking around through the benches, going right up to the front and checking out the view. I didn't know exactly how seating would work, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to know where I'd want to be in case I got to choose.
