REO rocks!
REO Speedwagon played first. It was cool to see them again! First of all let me say that I really enjoy their show, and any kidding I do about Kevin is with love! Speaking of Kevin - and of speaking - I had heard people say that Kevin was talking more between songs than on the last tour. When I heard that, I thought, "How??" But he actually did, I think. Some cute stories, about his family and especially about his twins and what he imagined himself to be in for when they turned sixteen, and some stories about the songs. They didn't play "Tough Guys," so we didn't hear the story about Sandra... what was her name? Maybe I need to hear that story again after all...
About halfway through the show, Bruce, Neal, Dave and Bryan left the stage, and Kevin led an acoustic and mostly solo section consisting of "In My Dreams," "That Ain't Love" and "Time For Me To Fly." Bryan, Bruce and Dave did come back onstage during the last part of "In My Dreams" to add some percussion and harmonies - very very nice. My pictures were pretty bad - don't worry though, they get worse!
