REO played from 8:00 until about 9:15. They
played "Roll With The Changes", "Keep Pushing", "Tough
Guys", "That Ain't Love", "Take It On The Run",
"Time For Me To Fly", (after which Kevin ran across the stage with his
hands tucked into his armpits, flapping), "Keep On Loving You",
"Don't Let Her Go", "Back On The Road Again", which Bruce
sang lead on, and probably some others I don't remember or didn't know. I
had heard remarks from earlier in the tour that Kevin talks a lot, and his
intros before the songs are kind of long, but if you're a big REO fan, you
probably don't think so. He could make room for two more whole songs if he'd
trim them though. J
Between songs once he talked about being at a
show earlier this year in Las Vegas and hearing a couple of girls talking who
didn't know he was listening, and they were saying how much they like the
"new lead singer" that REO has this year. His hair is short and bright
blond now, so if you only knew "classic" REO, it would be easy not to
recognize him by appearance alone! He said on one hand he didn't know how to
feel about that since he'd been in the band since 1972 but on the other hand he
did feel brand new!
