The Encore

JYThe guys left the stage and the crowd didn't quiet down for a moment! When they came back out, most of them threw towels. Lawrence came back out with a towel tucked into the front of his trousers like an apron, and "casually" walked up to the edge of the stage. Of course someone grabbed it away, and he jumped back and covered up, looking shocked! Very cute! J

They did the verse of "Tush" that they usually do, then went into "Renegade". This is probably my favorite song to hear them do live, and even more so now. Ten years ago I saw the Edge of the Century tour, and Glen flubbed the words a little - I was annoyed. Glen, I’m ready to cut you some slack now, you're forgiven. J They were amazing. If Todd's bass drum during the a capella opening doesn't make your heart beat out of your chest in rhythm, there is something physically wrong with you. JY came back over to "my" spot twice and played the majority of the solo with me staring directly up at him, flashing my shiny gloves, trying to remember how that inhaling-exhaling thing goes again so I wouldn't pass out. When he closed his eyes and shook his head, he was literally steaming in the cool night air. Totally and utterly unreal. The hard rocking finish to this song was the perfect way to bring the show to a close.

Last but not least...
