So long for now

Sunday, Debbie brought Dr. Karen and me to the airport as we kept splitting into smaller and smaller groups. Karen and I hung out for a while and had breakfast. We went to the Cinnabon shop and I got their Cinnabon Stix. They spell it a little funny, but I'm supposed to pass that by? I usually read on my flights if I'm not sleeping, but this time I figured I'd write. No time like the present to start working on a concert review! I found a little book called "The Traveler's Journal" in one of the shops. It's just a wire-bound book of blank, lined paper, but with a nice sturdy cover. Once I get a little "Styx" sticker put on the front, it will be "The Styx Traveler's Journal" - perfect!

Finally it was time to say so long for now. The journal turned out to be quite useful when my connecting flight got cancelled and I had a surprise three-hour layover in Charlotte. I didn't even mind - I had my CD player and headphones and pen and paper. And if one flight out of my four on this trip had to be cancelled, then absolutely let it be the last one when I have no schedule to meet and nowhere I have to be except home.

What a weekend - I'm so happy I went! Next show, July... in New Hampshire??? What's up with people coming to me for a change?
