The ever intangible child

Sing For The Day"Sing For The Day" is a new song for Styx to play live, and it sounds great! Tommy mentioned that he named his daughter after Hannah, the fictional character this song is about. This is Tommy's love song to the fans, personified by a girl named Hannah, "the ever intangible child, ageless and timeless as Dorian Gray." Listen to these lines that he wrote back when he was about 24-25 years old: "Hannah, don't fail me, I need you like never before; Father Time's on my back, at my heels, behind every door; He says, 'Son, when the years have but gone from your face, will she let you grow older with grace? Will she give you up for one younger than you?' Oh, Hannah, please tell me the things that he says are untrue; Hannah, I'm honestly hoping you'll always be there…" Is he something else or what?  Don't worry - we're here!
