JY Night
My account of this show doesn't go song by song, like my report from the Mansfield, MA show. I didn't come away with nearly as many specific memories about the concert itself this time as I did from that one. One reason is that even though this was an awesome show and I had some great personal moments, the Mansfield show will never be surpassed! A lot of the highlights of this particular show have just all blended together in my mind. Even the moments I can nail down, I can't place within a certain song in most cases. The other reason is that this turned into "JY night" for me. I stared, I took pictures (lots of pictures), I smiled, I sang, I waved my shiny little gloves, and I mostly ignored (unintentionally) everyone else on the stage. At times, Tommy was four feet away from me, on the edge of the stage, on his knees, and where was I looking? Across the stage at JY. From time to time I did take some pictures of someone else, for the simple reason that I was so close and they were great shots that I couldn't pass up - but I was unquestionably focused on that tall blond man!
The woman on my left (I guess I should have asked her name just for documentation purposes, shouldn't I?) had a camera too, and she was taking pictures of Tommy all evening. It was funny - Tommy would be a little to my right and JY a little to her left, and we turned and shot across each other many, many times. We never obstructed each other though, so we got along just fine!
