When "School's Out" started playing, that was our cue in the front row to GET UP! It might have been because of the size of the stage, but they didn't do the whole elaborate beginning to the show that I had seen the past few times, with the letters rising up and the band forming a line across the back of the stage on top of the riser. It was almost startling to me to see the band come directly from the back of the stage right up to the very front, as the lights flashed on full force and the first chords of the opening medley blasted! But even though it wasn't the huge production, it was quite an entrance!
The band was amazing - I know I say that every time but you know, if they weren't really amazing every time, would I keep coming back? You'll just have to trust me, they were amazing! The guys are so good at showing that they are into the performance and having fun, and that really gets the audience into it. During the first couple of songs, JY tossed a pick out in my direction. I can't catch for the life of me, but it landed right by my foot, so it was mine!
