The chat circle

over at the venue, a bunch of us met up again inside the gates, and Carrie and
Mike from New York were there too. We all stood around in a circle, and had at
least two conversations going on constantly! We laughed about the fact that in
the venue's program, the text for the Styx/Kansas show began, "Known best
for their 1984 anthem 'Rock You Like A Hurricane'"... hmm? Turns out they
had printed photos of Styx and Kansas, but copied the text word for word from
the description of the Scorpions/Deep Purple/Dio show a week earlier. Oh
well - at least the picture was of the current band members!
We also compared notes on how everyone had done getting their cameras past the staff at the gates. They checked my bag but didn't notice either camera. Some people had their cameras or film found, but were allowed to go in with them, others were made to take their camera back to their car, and others were barely searched. It was obvious that a lot of the staff thought cameras were okay, but I wish they could have gotten the message to everyone!
