Bye buses
After the show, Valerie, Kelly, Judi, Edith, Ann, Mark and I hung out in the parking area talking. We were there for so long that we figured we might as well go down a few yards and wait by the road where the buses would be coming out. Kelly got her signs back out and handed them around, and we held them up as the buses drove by! The band was already in the back, but we got some smiles out of the drivers! It was after midnight, so we got to wish Happy 25th Anniversary to the Grand Illusion album on its actual anniversary, too!
After that, it was time to go. Ann and Mark were on their way to Watertown, NY, for the show the next day, and the rest of us went back to my house to sleep off our inStyxication (this is the condition of being totally Styx-faced). Someone who shall remain nameless even started giggling in the car and couldn't stop. And she was driving, too! Okay, it was me. What can I say, it was a great show! Being able to share it with friends makes it even better!
Next Styx shows for me - Virginia in September! Can't wait!
