After that kind of buildup, what can I say except - it only got better! The sound was great, the energy was high, and the boys were ON. JY actually spotted my gloves out there in row 5 1/2, and did a little bit of a double take when he first saw them! I don't blame him, I didn't believe I was in North Dakota either!
At one point, JY said, "I don't think we've EVER been to Bismarck before!" The place went nuts! He listed several other cities they'd played in North Dakota, but not Bismarck. He turned to Tommy and asked, "Have we ever been here before?" Tommy tossed up his hands and gave him a look that said, "You're asking ME?" I guess that part of the past will remain a mystery, but as for the present, Styx was definitely in Bismarck!
