NDIFWTHAIT
When I decided to try and fit in a couple of Styx shows this winter, I looked at the schedule and checked to see what I could afford, which shows still had decent tickets available, and how I could possibly see more than one show in one trip. The best fit for my schedule turned out to be Friday and Saturday night, February 15th and 16th, in Bismarck and then Fargo, North Dakota. But North Dakota in February? I nicknamed this my "NDIFWTHAIT" tour - "North Dakota in February? What the heck am I thinking?"
Even though the first show in this excursion was in Bismarck, I flew into Fargo on Thursday night. I had to make that long drive between cities either before the first show or after the second, and when I pictured the possibility of trying to drive in a blinding snowstorm on Sunday morning, with the clock ticking away on a flight I would never make, I decided to fly into Fargo, so I would have a five mile drive to the airport on my way out. So Friday morning, I got on the road to Bismarck. The weather was beautiful, a little cloudy, and warm - 30 degrees, same as home! Not what I had feared so far, and no complaints here about that!
