What a fun show! The guys all seemed like they were having a lot of fun and were very relaxed. Tommy led the crowd in a verse or two of "Deep In The Heart of Texas." Everyone sang along and clapped on cue!
I didn't realize at the time that I was watching a few "last times" - lasts for a while, anyway! Since this was the last show before Styx truly started off the Cyclorama tour (no matter what the picks said), it was the last time we heard "Love Is The Ritual." Glen even mentioned before starting that one, that after this show the song would be packed away for a while. That was kind of cool for me since I was also lucky enough to hear it the first time they played it live, a little over two years earlier!
It was also the last time (for a while) they'd be on stage without a carrot somewhere nearby. Although there was a cactus!
Not only was the stage a bit small, the ceiling was a bit low! When Lawrence climbed up on top of his keyboard to take his leap, luckily he noticed! He had to duck a little, but he still made the jump!
